Polyamory. ..promiscuity...potatoes. ..po-tah-to. ..well, that's my opinion because I would not want to compromise body and mind for the much overrated passion.

As, for India being ready for it- sure it is. It always was. Just take a look at our highly engaging stories from Indian mythology, or even history.

Arjun, krishna, urvashi, pururavas, draupadi, menaka, a host of kings and certainly a number of Queens. ..and the infamous King Yayati , with such lust for life, that he got his younger son to trade in his youth for his still sizzling desires.

Yup  india was always ready, but that doesn't make it necessarily a good thing.

I think ancient Indian heritage indicates that just about everything is part of sacred...actualy that everything IS sacred. the walls of our temples are petty much adorned with evrything from birds, scenes of everyday life to the most exquisite and inricate carvings and etchings. everything that occurs in human life is sacred, becasue humans are the only creatures capable of transcending their sensual natures to achiee spiritual bliss. and it stands ot eason that unless you recognise and expore your sensual nature, you cant transcend it.

As an award winning senior journalist and communications professional, Roshni loves to write (with her pet cat providing the Persian rug feel atop her foot as she types on). Relationships, the very basis for living life as we know it, intrigue her especially with the complexity with which they present themselves. Reading, travelling, and having her mind ignited by fresh, new ideas (though she may not necessarily implement them) are some of her other passions.
