I feel bored in my marriage after five years. Really craving some excitement and want to have a fling, an adventure. Can’t be stuck in this life anymore!

It is just so easy to blame the marriage for being monotonous or the reason for monotony in our lives.
Even if one gets married, our life still remains our own life. Just as it was before marriage.
You can’t transfer the responsibility of making your life interesting on your partner. Buck up and take charge of making your life interesting. But just remember, don’t destroy other lives in your enthusiasm to make it interesting. There are a 1000 and 1 ways to make your life fun and interesting without harming anyone’s feelings and emotions. So have fun!

I think when people said to you that marriage is the ultimate destination, you should not have listened to them.

If you are adventure freak, then are there are millions of lives you could have chosen! Jobs that would have taken you from adventure to another.

But you chose marriage.

So either you ask your partner to be your fellow adventurer.

Or set yourselves free from that lie. A permanent solution. Because the temporary ones you seek are going to make it worse.

Marriage can get monotonous after a while. Share your feelings with your partner and try to have an adventure with your spouse. There are many ways to spice things up – role play, toys, etc. Try something new before trying someone new

You can do that, but think of the repercussions in the long term. You may have an ‘adventure’ for the moment, but it will destroy your marriage
