Around this time of the year, I had a terrible breakup. His memories have been too hard to erase. No matter how hard I try, like the phantoms of a troubled soul they cling to my present. Why can’t I move on?

Been through the same. See, you are in phase 1 of a break up, phase 2 is getting angry on him and phase 3 is his memories not bothering you anymore. I will be honest here. If you are a smart ass woman, you wont find it difficult to move on. Try indulging with someone, might help. Try and understand why your body needs someone always, so much so that you miss no one but him. Love activates the same areas of brain as alcohol. So deprivation of it can make you crave for it. Its scientific. And so it happens to everyone. Understand this fact and accept the pain. Allow it to flow. Having said that, when you miss him, be next to someone else of opposite sex whom you trust and love. This helps. If you still need support write back to rath.desh@gmail.com
