Coping with death of a child

I witnessed a couple who had recently lost their child. This loss created a havoc in their relationship. It led to estrangement and then support for each other and then again the two of them finding respite in prayers / music/ anything which could help them tide over their misery.

  1. It’s one of the most crucial period when a couple loses a child. Only faith and support can help the couple.

  2. Yesterday I and my mom were talking about this couple who lost their child last June. But since we witnessed his death, we are still haunted by the imagery. I was also reminded of the movie Talaash, how their child’s death brought a rift in their marriage. A rift always remains I think. But I feel that this is precisely the time when partners should hold on to each other more tightly.
