Do you believe Transgenders are paying the price for their sins in previous life?

Hindus and Greeks believe in reincarnation and effect of your sins in previous life in your present life. I have heard people say that you have to pay for your misdeeds in your next incarnation. Further, books like ‘Many Lives Many Masters’ by Dr Brian Weiss underscores the belief.I believe that if we don’t know about a thing it doesn’t mean that it does not exist. But, we don’t have the apparatus to identify its existence.

  1. I'd hope I pay for my sins in this life itself so at least I know what I did wrong and pay the price, learn the lesson. In another life, where I don't know what I did wrong, it makes it unfair to pay the price. *p**p*That said, being transgender is no crime or punishment. They are humans just like us and need to be treated such. *p*

  2. Interesting viewpoint. I believe you are refering to the concept of karma. Didnt know Greeks believed in reincarnation too.

  3. I too believe that if we don’t know about a thing it doesn’t mean that it does not exist. I also have faith in Hindu Scriptures. To me, its more like some advance science , and we somehow are yet not ready to understand its concepts fully. *p*To my understanding, if it was to say, there were certain past life deeds or attachments that leads to certain situation in current life. I can agree till that. But saying that Transgender are paying a price for that’.. well not so. Because Hindu mythology says every soul has a unique life purpose. It doesn’t say anything on any body form or personalities. Personally, even to think this would be regressive.
