Hobbies post marriage

I do not see many men and women trying to pursue their hobbies / passions after their marriage. What makes these take a backseat?

  1. May be because we focus too much on ‘we’ ‘they’ , that ‘I’ slowly and slowly starts taking a backseat. If partners, they are also individuals and they should realise that. Either they should pursue their individual hobbies or do activities together.

  2. Added responsibilities toward their new family and spouse makes ones hobbies take a backseat. However this shouldn’t be the case and one must surely pursue at least a hobby or two in order to have some me-time which is very important in a relationship.
