Is live in really a good idea?

Yes it may help you get to know your partner better. But it also exposes their flaws. While in a marriage we learn to live with them, in a live in there is a tendency to just break up when the going gets tough. Basically you may end up with the worst sides to dating and marriage.

  1. Live in or marriage is an arrangement – the real deal is knowing the person, accepting the person for who he/she is truly .
    Love rises beyond these arrangements.
You may choose either depending on your take on love / lust but at the core a person whether married to you or just a live-in partner has to be accepting and has to accept you with your dark side/ shadow side which will eventually surface as the relationship ages.

  2. Very true! And a very valid point made. but the thing is who will explain it to the senior generation!

  3. That depends on your motivation to stay in a relationship. Even when not in a live in we are constantly exposed to the worst sides of our partners. Those only advance in live in. It may give you an excerpt to what you may have to deal with in future and if you dont want to then you can walk out easily. It all comes to whether you and your partner are persistent to stay in the relationship or not.
