Is polyamory an undeniable reality or a comfortable escape?

  1. Yes people can love two people at the same time but not with the same comitment and intensity…actually it seems that you can love two people at the same time but technically it is not possible, the scale is always tilted.*p*

  2. The feeling of loving two or more peoples at the same time was existing earlier too.. That's why most of religious/mythological characters (for ex. in Ramayana/Mahabharata), kings have more than one marriage.. It was not  illegal till around 1900-1950. Thereafter, legislation was brought in India to stop more than one marriage..*p*

  3. I feel that because of our mental conditioning by the culture and society, love and sex has become matter of honour, moral, and rights/authority, otherwise nothing unnatural in it. I think there is no need to deny  or to escape from it..*p*

  4. It is a function of a person's situation, his/her value system and also interpersonal relations. The party less affected by societal judgement tends to convince the other, 'It's alright'. The line between reality and escape is tough to discern. *p**p* *p*
