  1. That is what feminism is all about. To break down the societal construct of the masculine-feminine binaries. I do not think having a voice means loss of femininity. I would really appreciate if you could elaborate the question. *p*

  2. Not exactly, but now women are more willing to accept the role and responsibilities that demand them to come out of century old defined femininity. Women have become more felxible and same stand true for men as well (to some extent) :)*p*

  3. Masculinity and Feminity are relative factors, I am a female, but I function like a male,( for example I have difficulty in expressing emotions.) What masculinity and feminity essentially is, arises from how we define it. We all have a mixture of both the traits in us. What happens is sometimes we move to male bashing instead of Feminism and that needs to be checked. We cannot afford to threaten the male. *p*

  5. Feminism is not about disconnecting with anything in you! It is about equal socio-economic rights of men and women. And yes, it is about rights of men too! It tells men that they don't have to be "masculine" either. It seeks to do away with standard gender roles, duties.*p**p*Feminism does not ask you to hate men. It does not ask you to be like men. It does not ask you to be superior to men.*p**p*It simply establishes that men and women are equal and should have equal rights, opportunities, status, freedoms… that is all. *p*

  6. Femininity is inborn and disconnecting from it is not really possible. Our sensitivity as women makes us better bosses as I have personally experienced. Though there are women who do try to imbibe masculine traits to fall in line with their male counterparts but the feminine qualities do remain intact. We may suppress them in the struggle to survive in the world but cannot totally disconnect from them.*p*
