Married yet living apart

Relationships are increasingly less traditional. Higher studies or career demands may require the couple to spend time apart- many times in different cities.

How do you think it affects the marriage?

  1. Totally agree. It requires more effort to make it work and may actually strengthen the bond if both involved are okay with this arrangement.

  2. Staying apart surely affects a relationship. One needs to work tad more for a long distance relationship to work.

  3. Going thru a hard time such as separation is a litmus test for the relationship and needs to be handled with great maturity, wisdom and loads of love.

  4. Separation I feel is kind f ‘agni pariksha’ every couple has to go through. It creates feelings of loneliness, yearning. But it also strengthens the bond.
