Siding with the kids

Since my kids are turning into teenagers, I find myself siding with my kids more often than agreeing with my husband. I know that as parents my husband and I should present a united front to the kids so this makes me feel very guilty.

  1. Kids can use one parent against the other if you do not showing a united front – parenthood is tricky so be cautious.
You can explain your point of view later alone to the kids and to the spouse separately but not in front of each other.
