Violence of silence

Often partners unleash the violence of silence on each other and steadily destroy their marriage. Your take?

  1. There are some couples who believe never going to bed angry at one another. But if one is of a short fuse, I say it is better to be quiet, sleep over it and then when you wake up, you realise how unimportant the whole thing was. That said, talking to one another is key. Tell your partner where they are going right or wrong, their expectations and yours etc

  2. Sometimes silence can be an effective tool. Or even a moment to take a break and mull things over instead of getting into a shouting match. Of course, protracted silence is not good as it shows communication is lacking
