What if feel a little protective about my space. I have nothing to hide but I do not like him checking my phone or reading my diary. Am I being naive?

  1. Not at all. Being in a relationship doesn't mean you lose your individuality and space. There is no reason for him to read your diary or check your phone. If parents shouldn't do that, then your partner most definitely shouldn't as well. Ask him why he feels he needs to check those? If there is a lack of trust in the relationship, perhaps that needs to be answered*p*

  2. Maybe he's also not doing it to spy on you or find something which you've kept as secret. He just does it to know you better. It can be in that way too. You might be naive at some level. But if he always keeps flicking through your stuff and questions about every small activity of yours then he's really up to search something of his interest and not yours. So just talk to him and see how he reacts about all of this. *p*
