Amrita Lall

Amrita Lall is a writer and editor with five years of experience in the fields of travel, culture, art and design, beauty and lifestyle. She holds a degree in law but chooses to work with words for a living. Her first job as a writer at Lonely Planet Magazine India gave her the chance to travel widely and find stories that demanded to be told. It was the beginning of an ongoing quest to keep seeking stories; she strongly believes that the best stories lie hidden in plain sight, in our daily lives. Her work has appeared in publications like Lonely Planet Magazine India, Nat Geo Traveler India and Architectural Digest India. She writes fiction too, whose themes focus on human relationships and personal identities. Her stories have appeared in Out of Print, Gulmohur Quarterly and elsewhere.
