The other day I was reading this article on Bonobology, “Every couple does these cliché things when in love” and I couldn’t stop my head from nodding at every point. They were so damn true. When it comes to be couple trendsetters, Indians always lead the rally. Turns out, Bollywood celebs are also not lagging behind when it comes to setting mushy couple goals.

One of the beloved Bollywood couples, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were spotted together in Mumbai. The pair was out for shooting the second season of BFFs with Vogue.

Choosing to complement each other, the pair wore matching monochrome outfits and carried them with much class.

Whether it is going on dinner and lunch dates, or being doting parents to daughter Misha, Shahid and Mira have always given Indian couples some major marriage and parenting goals.

But this time, the duo surprised us by trying the clichéd Indian couple thingy of wearing matching outfits. And, they totally nailed it.

Not only did they bust the ‘oh-so-silly’ myth associated with couples wearing matching outfits, but also showed how to turn it into something classy.

Misha had donned a black top with printed monochrome patterns by Ashish N Soni, while Shahid played the perfect fashion partner in a polka-dotted Dinkar Aneja jacket.

Undoubtedly, Shahid and Mira’s twinning adventure was romantic as well as fashionable.

So dear Indian couples, hit the streets in your favourite matching outfits and own it.

Wearing matching outfits can be a clichéd thingy, but as Shahid and Mira proved, it can also be romantic and fashionable as well.

After all, everything is fair in love and war. And when it comes to love, we Indians never shy away from proudly flaunting our love, be it silly or smart.
