A born optimist, but only in the sense that he firmly believes that his pessimism will ultimately help the world to progress, Sabyasachi Mitra is a reluctant workaholic, never able to say no to any proposal, hoping that it will be the one that will allow him to retire in comfort. An economist by training, but a mathematics teacher by passion (and default), interpreting mythology is his penultimate goal.
