Deepa Gupta is a journalist/writer with more than 23 years’ experience, having worked with The Times of India in various capacities and later writing extensively for The Hindu, Outlook, Governance Now, Firstpost.com, India Legal, The Financial Express, Travel Today, HT City, The Pioneer and The Munich Eye. She features in ‘India Rasa-Experiencing the Incredible’, a coffee table book on exotic locations in India published by The Times Group. Her doctorate in American Literature entails the study of the cinematic technique in the novels of Saul Bellow with regard to the verbal and visual component of the written word. Apart from writing and reading, she likes to travel and take road trips and loves to take pictures especially when on the move. She is based in Noida.
