Ruchi Ruuh

Ruchi Ruuh (She/Her) is a Counselling Psychologist presently working in areas of Love, Relationships and Mental Well-being Ruchi works with couples and individuals, and takes them on the path of rediscovering love for themselves and also educates them on matters of self-acceptance. She also teaches how to embrace oneself and how to understand the needs, both romantic and sexual, of their partners. Additionally, she provides client-centred, evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and elements of Positive Psychotherapy in her therapy sessions. Her practice focuses on helping individuals maneuver through their thoughts, feelings and emotions that provide a better understanding of themselves facilitating improved mental health. At the moment, she is working on a book that navigates the journey of 15 people as they embark upon an exploration of their relationships while keeping faith in the therapeutic process that they involved themselves in. The book covers a sea of stories: affairs, breakups, toxic family structures, homosexuality, asexuality, long-distance romance, lockdown love and much more. She completed her Bachelors in Design from NIFT New Delhi (2002) and then proceeded to get a Masters in Design from Nottingham Trent University (2008) and finally, did a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from Amity University (2017). She has been practicing as a counselling psychologist for the past 4 years.
